It's not heat, I have the latest drivers for a GTX670 from Nvidia. I've tried to approach the problem 1 solution at a time. I personally don't suffer from artifacts but repeated black screen syndrome.

I manually maxed those settings out as well, and disabled VSync. I allowed the game to automatically detect my graphical settings, and it maxed everything out, save for a few minor things like animated grass and clouds.

Ubisoft has reportedly fixed this issue but if you are having this problem try quitting the game and rejoining or you can try disabling the UPNP settings on your router if you're familiar and comfortable with that technology. One patch seemed to introduce a new bug where players skills will immediately fail to work and then be placed on a 15 second cool-down.Ĭurrently, it seems to be an issue with armour that has any kind of buff on skill cool-downs. Ubisoft is also working on a patch for this bug. It's worth noting that there are some story missions closer to the top left of the map which can be easy to miss after expanding southwards until now. Try levelling up to level 16 and redoing the mission to gain access to later story missions. This seems to be an issue connected to the level of the player when they first completed this mission. Returning to the settlement will repeat the same cut scene and no new missions will be unlocked. There's a common issue where players are finding themselves not able to progress onwards after completing the mission found by visiting the Castle settlement. Try fast travelling far away if walking doesn't do the trick or you might need to quit and restart the game. Usuaully this is contained to an area and moving to another place should fix the issue. Intermittent problems can crop up while playing The Division 2 where the sky or ground might clip through the scene.
